Giant Gift a la Card Program - Special On-Going Fund Raiser

We are now selling Giant gift cards. They can be used the same as cash at any Giant store. The good thing however is One By One profits from you buying the card from us instead of just using cash at the store.

They are available in various denominations - $10, $20, $25 & $50. We make 5% off these cards. It may not seem like a lot but if a lot of people started using them regularly it would really add up over a year's time frame. So it isn't buying anything that you really don't want and you can still help out the kitties.

Karousel Kats 9th Annual Allbreed and HHP Cat Show

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, to give us updates on your adopted One By One cats, and support us. Also, thanks to Karousel Kats for inviting us to be a part of this fun event. We are especially thankful to Karousel Kats for their continued support and donation of $1,000 in memory of two club members.

5th Annual Pleasantville Covered Bridge Festival - Saturday May 31 - 10 AM to 8 PM

We're kicking off a lot of summer events with this one! Pack up the kids, parents, friends and neighbors and head to Pleasantville for plenty of entertainment. It starts off at 8 a.m. with a 6K race, all other activities begin at 10. Crafts and food, amusement rides, kids games, helicopter rides, bingo, magic shows, music with a few different bands. It ends with fireworks in the evening. Free shuttle parking as well.

Christmas City Cat Club Mid Atlantic Regional Cat Show - July 19 & 20, 2008 - 9 AM to 4 PM

Never been to a cat show? Think it's just judging cats? Come out to the Days Inn Conference Center on Routes 22 & 309 in Allentown and find out what the show is all about. You will discover vendors with cat furniture, cat toys, cat beds and yes, beautiful sweaters and jewelry for cat lovers too.

One By One will be there along with other rescue groups. Bring along a can of cat food which will be donated to the rescues and you will receive $1.00 off your $6.00 admission.

Hold this date and join us for a great event. We have the best bingo caller in the area, wonderful raffle items, door prizes, delicious food and beautiful baskets. What more could you ask for!

Our bingo event is held in the Kenhorst Social Hall on Kenhorst Boulevard in Shillington. The doors open at noon and the games begin promptly at 1:00.

13th Annual Chile Pepper Food Festival - September 5 & 6 - 9 AM to 6 PM

Adopt One By One Cats at PETsMART in Wyomissing!

Visit and adopt our kitties EVERYDAY at the PETsMART Adoption Center in Wyomissing (off State Hill Rd next to Redners and Walmart, the former Hechinger’s building). Over 150 cats have found their new homes from this adoption center. Thanks to everyone who stops by the adoption center, we enjoy talking to each one of you.

If you love kitties and can give us an hour of your time to help out in the adoption center, please email Kathy at kathy@1by1catrescue.org. The kitties must be attended to first thing in the morning (between 7 and 9 am) and at the end of the day (til 9 pm). If you enjoy being around cats and people, and can spare an hour a week, every other week or even once a month, please let us know. The kitties will thank you for it.

Purina® Pro Plan® has developed a program just for the smaller shelters to help spread the word about pet adoption. One By One is proud to be one of their Rescue Ambassadors. Two easy ways to help!

Look for specially marked "Moo Money" lids on Turkey Hill milk. For every 500 lids we collect, we will receive $25.00. The products include whole milk, 2%, 1% & fat free milk, chocolate, strawberry and orange cream milk. Only specially marked milk lids that feature the Moo Money symbol will be accepted and eligible for redemption. The entire milk lid with the official Moo Money sticker adhered must be turned in to receive proper credit.

Get a free Redner's Save-A-Tape card and save your Redner's receipts for us. Redner's will donate 1% of the register receipts to One By One. Please remember to use your card on every Redner's purchase.

Our screen-printed short-sleeved t-Shirts are $15 and long-sleeved t-shirts are $17 (XXL sizes slightly more) and are available in assorted sizes and colors. The new "classy" embroidered items have become very popular too. The logo is embroidered on the left side of the shirt only. We are constantly getting new items to sell including sweatshirts, denim button-down shirts and denim jackets.

Small Tote Bags are $10 and Large Tote Bags are $15.
